Bike Tech 's Daily Cycling Tip

Dealing With Dogs - Our canine friends can be terrifying when they bark or chase. In most cases, however, dogs are simply trying to protect their territory and they'll back off if you yell, "No!" or "Bad dog!" and continue pedaling and leave their "zone." The most important thing is to keep your mind on controlling your bike. If you pay too much attention to the dog, you might swerve and run into something or fall off and get hurt. If you're really frightened, consider detouring around the dog or walking past while keeping the bike between you and Cujo.
